iON Air Pro 3 Product Review On My 1994 Suzuki Intruder VS800

iON rolled out their new action video camera, the Air Pro 3. This is the third edition of this camera, it's come out not much more than a year after the Air Pro 2 was released. This newer version comes with several improvements. The ion Air Pro 3 has better waterproofing, built in I might add, no need for additional cases like with the GoPro. This version also features an improved sensor, better image stabalization which is critial with these types of cameras, and wifi controls.

The iON Air Pro 3 has a new improved 12 megapixel sensor with a 160 degree lense. This can be cropped down however to 140 degrees or 150 degrees via the app. You can capture an astounding 4000x3000 still image and 1080p video. The dual streaming feature allows users to both shoot and share recordings at the same time.

iON is stating that this new sensor provides better range and light sensitivity than the predecessor.

The anti-shake feature which is an anti-vibration feature helps to stabalize images on bikes or on rocky roads. I love the noise reduction which as you riders know wind noise is terrible on these things even from within your helmet. Unlike the GoPro which needs a seperate housing this camera is self sealed and waterproof up to 49 feet. You can shoot over two and a half hours on the battery, all while weighing just 5 ounces.

Here's also a few other things this amazing device features...

1. One click capture. Very easy to use and intuitive.
2. Auto Rotating G Sensor, adjust when camera is tilted. No need to do it when editing like with GoPro and others.
3. Swivel. The camlock system lets you tilt the camera without removing it from mount.
4. iOS and Android App allow use of phones or tablets.
5. Built In Mic, works well with noise reduction. Can also plug in a mic and put in helmet.

The iON Air Pro 3 is currently selling on Amazon for $350.
