Okay, now let's start off by saying this is a $40 camera with Free shipping on Amazon so the price is just fantastic. You start to ask yourself however how good can this really be at that price point. It's not the best camera on the market, I have my complaints about it. If you want this on your motorcycle or car to prove your side of the story in accidents this will suffice. If you want the best pictures out there probably not but this is sufficient.
The main thing your probably wondering is if this is even worth buying or if its junk. It's actually great for the price. Ebay has some chinese sellers selling $15 action cams which again for the price aren't bad but this is better than those. I think this is probably dollar for dollar one of the best though I personally would rather spend around $100 or $120 and get something of good good quality.
I like that this comes with a nice handlebar mount. Those can run almost $40 alone sometimes. It also comes with a waterproof case, not something I'm likely to use as I don't dive and am more into bikes but still cool. Havn't tested it to see how well it works. The image quality is not 1080p but is 720p. I'm pleasantly surprised with the value for the money though.
As far as complaints, video is pretty shaky though that's somewhat to be expected. Your not going to get stabalizers and anti-vibration features at this price point. The wide angle is a 50mm equivalent which is only half as wide as the GoPro lense.
This video is good for still applications, if your riding a motorcycle on a flat even road it may work. It would be a great entry level video for a kid wanting to vid themselves riding bikes and not worry about them breaking or losing it. Overall though it won't work for what I'm trying to do, none the less for the price it's better than expected. That said I will be boxing it up for return.
